Meet the Founder
Founder Mr. Nishan De Silva stepped in to the field of Hospitality in the year 2012 with the opening of our sister hotel in Habarana, Camellia Resort and Spa. Mr Nishan Hemantha De Silva is passionate about protecting nature and helping the local communities with the same concept Camellia Agro village came to light, providing hundreds of employment for the community around with the dairy farm, Cinnamon plantation, rubber plantation and farming, With the rise of Camellia Agro Village the Community has immense gratitude as they received proper housing and employment because of Mr. Nishan Hemantha De Silva’s initiatives.

Camellia Agro village itself got many in store for you start of by Visiting our Dairy Farm just few meters
from the villa. You can also witness the rubber sheet making process from latex obtained for the rubber trees. Also don’t forget to check out our cinnamon plantation to see how the cinnamon bark is been cleaned to make cinnamon sticks.
Take a stroll around our plantation to catch a glimpse of that greenery. You can also have cold dip in the water way close by. Don’t forget to ask for directions from our team.
